The F2 materials comprise of fluorosilicone acrylate chemistry, designed to promote the known advantages of improved wettabilty and deposit resistance. This range of workhorse materials have an excellent machining characteristics and is ideal for thin lens designs. In addition to routine spherical fits this materials can also be used with more sophisticated designs. The fitting characteristics are predictable, as the range offers a variety of Dk values but the same chemistry design.
